The National Association of Purchasing Management – New Hampshire, Inc. is a non-profit association for purchasing and supply management professionals, and for students and others who are interested in this field. Our goal is to provide education and networking opportunities for our members, and to share the importance of purchasing and supply management with the business world. We have over one hundred members who live or work in New Hampshire and bordering states.

Welcome to our website where you will find meeting and seminar information, educational resources, and the latest news. In the Members Only section, members have access to job postings, a member directory, links to other affiliates and associations, and a "Swap and Shop" forum to borrow or buy educational or related items or give a second life to items you no longer need.

If you are not a member, please consider joining. Check out the Membership page for eligibility, benefits, costs, and how to join. As a member of NAPM-NH, you will also be a member of ISM and have access to its website and benefits. 

NAPM-NH Asked to Help State Procurement Study PDF Print E-mail

NAPM-NH has been asked by the state of New Hampshire to assist in a state procurement study. "It is exciting that the legislature recognizes our organization as a valuable and respected resource to Procurement and Supply Chain expertise," states NAPM-NH president Scott DeFreitas. We were joined at our meeting on September 16th by NH House Representative David Danielson who explained this study, and how NAPM-NH can provide significant value and insight to assist the State with this initiative. Scott DeFreitas revealed that this will "help solidify the value we as NAPM-NH provide not just for members, but to those within the business world – be it public, private or government."



Continuing Education Scholarship for Members PDF Print E-mail

The Continuing Education has been extended for the 2013-2014 year!

In support of NAPM-NH's goal of education for its members, we are pleased to announce the Continuing Education Scholarship!  This will help fund training or other educational opportunities that members want to pursue to increase their knowledge in the purchasing or supply management field, or in their specific job environment related to this field.

Examples of education that may be eligible for a scholarship include:

  • College courses or courses through other accedited organizations
  • Seminars
  • Webinars
  • ISM certification exams
  • Other professional development opportunities in purchasing, supply management, or general business topics

Members who wish to apply for this scholarship must have been a member of NAPM-NH for one year. It will cover up to $500 of expenses such as registration and certain required materials during the 2013-2014 academic year. Complete rules and details can be found in Guidelines in the menu to the left, along with the application form.

Applicants will be notified if they have been awarded a scholarship and the amount. Once approved, they proceed with the course, etc. and will be reimbursed upon proof of successful completion.

We currently have 99 Regular (ISM) members and 5 Associate members for a total of 104 members.

Have you asked a coworker or acquaintance to attend a meeting yet? If you meet someone who is a buyer or works in the supply chain field, invite them! You can also ask suppliers who their buyers are and invite them. NAPM-NH's mission is to advance the professionalism of the fields of purchasing and supply chain management, and offer both education and networking opportunities. Spread the word!!




Credit Card Processing for Meetings PDF Print E-mail

NAPM-NH now offers registration and pre-payment by credit card for dinner meetings!

You are now able to prepay for meetings by credit card for the first time, beginning with the September 16th meeting. Go to the "Register for Next Meeting" tab in the menu along the top of this page and follow the directions. You can also use this tab to register for a meeting and pay at the door with cash or check. (Sorry, we are not able to accept credit cards at the door.)



Have you updated your contact info on the ISM website? It is important that you notify us of any changes in your mailing address, email address, company, or other contact information, so that you don't miss the newsletters, Inside Supply Management magazine, or other correspondence.  YOUR MEAL TICKETS ARE SENT TO THE THE ADDRESS THAT ISM USES FOR YOU. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM YET, PLEASE CHECK THE ADDRESS ON "MY ACCOUNT" ON THE ISM WEBSITE.

To update your changes, simply click on the "Contact Us" button on the top menu, and fill out the form with your changes.

Don't know what information ISM has for you? Be sure you will receive your invoice to renew your dues this fall! Go to (you can use the link in the Main Menu), log in, and go to "My Account" along the top. Choose "Member Information Update Form". Scroll down to see all the info. While there, you can also make any changes and submit them to ISM, but be sure to let NAPM-NH know too. Thank you!
